The Passing of 9W2LOO’s Daughter

Got the news from the MARES buletin email this morning, Loo or better knows as 9W2LOO - a ham member of Segamat. His daughter passed away yesterday afternoon at the Selayang Hospital due some other brain complications after receiving his liver. When we first met during the flood donation thingy in Segamat, we were all told of this “small” procedure where he is going to donate part of his liver to his 10 year old daughter. I remember wishing him luck.

The procedure went on smoothly. But her daughter Lo Chee Hin, had some brain complication and was on life support shortly after that. She remained on life support until 26th of April 2007 where doctors announced her dead.
