Streamyx Again

I feel sick whenever i see that word? Streamyx gives me a bad gut feeling. I was so freakin pissed the other day, when i decided to write a letter and send them out to almost every major newspaper in the country. And this was bout 2 weeks ago - today i flipped open the paper and found my name there on an article, they published my letter. Its in Malay Mail page 9 and this is the online version, thanks to Klangboy for the “proofreading”. The last time i made an official complain to Streamyx was about 2 months ago, then now comes the interesting part, i have so far only gotten one call from Streamyx technical support, that was bout 2 weeks ago.

Still there wasn’t any improvement on the service, so come today - i got a call from one technician during lunch time. A technician asked when will i be in front of computer, apparently he wanted to do some test. I told him i will only be home after 9PM everyday and will available on weekends, he rescheduled me for this Saturday. Then he went on telling me he has already changed my port. Now then a while ago another lady from TMNet called but i was in shower, she said she will call back within 10 minutes. It has been 40 minutes since.

Now isn’t that weird? 2 calls from TMNet after you get a stupid rant letter published? Thats good customer service if you ask me …

Those aside, i did some test while i was waiting for the lady to call back … and i was so rite - its still that fucking slow!

Dude that’s not bad, and the speed into the network is fine, try doing a test with their speedometer.

The problem is the International backhaul which is overloaded.

And the people on the ground can’t do anything about it, marketing keeps selling and the money keeps getting pocketed.

The infrastructure is still outdated and shite.

cely, thats the wrng mindset, everyone keeps having this “tidak apa” attitude and just think its something that we have to live with … thats means you are are paying every month for something which you are not getting … obviously i cant …

ShaolinTiger, yeah thats the thing, i am expecting them to call me up and have me use their speedometer and the stupid test of their are going to show me that i do indeed have a high speed, but thats a local speed, dont tell me i am paying for a 1MB line which is only fast for Malaysian traffic, but the speed drops like fuck once i go for International sites … thats ridiculous speed, they should cut all budgets to marketing and move them all to infra, fix the bloody infra, before embarking an all-out journey in getting more customers, people know of their bad service, so stop wasting money on something which they will not get anything out of it and start fixing the real issue …

I also have this kind of problem but from REDtone. I was unable to login more than a week, now the connection also unstable, some hours I can’t even browse into internet at all.

I think streamyx and REDtone got no different, they said will call back in short moment but never! They also cheating on all users.
